One of my favorite summer days HAS to be Ashley and Chris’s Rock Island Lake Club wedding! Truly the most perfect June day for the sweetest couple! Everything about their wedding day spoke to a classic, timeless style. We began the day at Ashley’s house to capture their getting ready moments, and my second headed off to Chris’s parents house!

I’ve found the morning always sets the tone for the day. Ashley and her girls were in such high spirits and so giddy to see their best friend get married. And of course their pu had to join in the fun! She just wanted to be the center of attention, and we were all happy to oblige!

Church Ceremony

From there, we all made our way to the church for their ceremony! Chris’s smile says it all! Seeing his fiance walk down the aisle made him beam and it couldn’t have been sweeter. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony surrounded by their friends and family.

After the ceremony, their pup made an appearance for some photos! She got to hang with the wedding party and made the cutest addition! The weather sure played in our favor and made every location the perfect spot for photos!

Reception at Rock Island Lake Club

With the festivites in full swing, we headed to the venue to finish up alllll their portraits! The wedding party was so much fun to photograph!

But I truly loved photographing Ashley and Chris the most (shocking, right?). They have a nautral chemistry and are so sweet with one another. My favorite shots are the ones with the veil, it feels like an ethereal DREAM!

Rock Island is absolutely one of my new favorite NJ wedding venues! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and would look stunning any time of year. Their reception space is modern, which is so refreshing in New Jersey! If you’re new here, we’re big fans of reception spaces that don’t have that gold and gaudy ballroom vibe #sorrynotsorry

But quite possibly the best part is the FOOD! It’s seriously so good and the variety is unmatched. In addition, cocktail hour is an hour and a half, so you get even more time to mingle with all your favorite people.

This day couldn’t have been better, but the reception proved me wrong! Everyone was up to dance and party with the newlyweds and I loved every minute of it! Congrats to the Grecos!!
