Sometimes I meet my couples in the most unlikely ways. I’ve met a few because of my part time job, and Matt and Ashleigh are one of them! Matt and I actually worked together for some time. There was one night after their engagement that Matt came in. He pulled me aside and said they were most likely going to use me as their engagement and wedding photographer. Now, you can imagine how giddy this made me. After he introduced Ashleigh to my work, we set up their Downtown Dover engagement session, and made this magic you see before you!

I love these two as a couple. They are genuine and kind, and I really love being around them. We decided on Downtown Dover because of its old world charm. The historic buildings are full of beautiful architecture that tell their own story of how the city of Dover was founded. THere’s so much history in each corner, you really can’t get enough! I love exploring the foundations of cities, and it’s even better when it’s with my sweet couples!

I have to brag on them too. Ashleigh’s outfit is absolute stunning on her. I wanted to have her twirl all day long in that skirt, but I settled on once or twice so she wouldn’t get dizzy. I’ve also only ever seen Matt in work uniforms, so to see them as a couple all dolled up was priceless! I think they make one good looking couple. Matt knocked it out of the park on that ring too. I mean, WOW! It could have blinded me. I could have photographed that gorgeous solitaire cut all day long.
