Georgetown Yacht Basin Engagement Session | Georgetown, Maryland | Stacy + Jacob
I always love when clients suggest locations with meaning for their session. Stacy suggested Georgetown Yacht Basin for their engagement session because it holds so many memories for them, some dating back to childhood. Stacy + Jacob’s whole Georgetown Yacht Basin engagement session was full of sweet moments and an even sweeter tribute to a very special little girl. This little family is so wonderful and thrives together. While I’m not usually big on the posed group shots, I knew we needed to have them done for them! Especially with these dogs! Somehow we managed to get them to all sit and pose for it.
It was also a good chance for them to show off their Eagles pride! I don’t have couples who agree on sports teams very often, but when I do, you know that is a marriage that will last.
Can you believe we almost rescheduled this session because it was supposed to rain? Thank goodness we didn’t! Otherwise we would have missed out on this dreamy golden light that flooded the skies after the clouds cleared. I’ve never experienced such a glowy, golden light in all the sunset sessions I’ve done. I don’t know if this location is just magical or if it was all pure luck. Maybe a little of both, but I’ll take it!
