Historic Smithville Inn Engagement Session | NJ Wedding Photographer

Meet Arielle + Justin! After ten years, they are tying the knot this September and I can’t wait to be such a huge part of their day. Their Historic Smithville Inn engagement session in Galloway, NJ is one of my favorites so far this year. These high school sweethearts love walking around and perusing the shops here, so they knew they had to have their wedding here. Shockingly, this was my FIRST time at Historic Smithville, and I’m a New Jersey native!! I’m so thankful to have met these two, and for them to show me this little gem in South Jersey! I really didn’t have to tell them to do much, they just knew.

We bonded over our pet dogs and food, which are both an automatic key to my heart. We ventured to a hidden spot along the water they happened upon while exploring one day. I love off-the-beaten-path spots and this one is definitely a favorite. If you look closely, you can see a foggy Atlantic City in the background. I’m always up for a good adventure, so this little detour is the perfect ending to a fun Historic Smithville Inn engagement. I could have spent all day with them, so I’m really looking forward to their September wedding at Historic Smithville Inn. Congratulations you two!!

Rebecca somehow made us both relaxed and produced absolute magic! She instructed us while still making the photos look candid, reliably captured our "good sides," and brought her unique eye for lighting and settings (pro tip: do whatever she says even if it seems funny or in a different location; it will look utterly amazing). Photos can be an investment and I'm glad we did the research and found the perfect photographer for us.
