Things I will always adore: best friends in love. Aubrey and Luke couldn’t fit the bill better! Aftering dating for 2.5 years, these two finally became Mr. + Mrs. Metaxas on a beautiful October day. Their Hotel duPont and Nemours Estate wedding was everything they dreamed of and more. It’s one of my favorite venues, and it was perfect for their elegant fall day.

Aubrey and Luke met on Hinge, and their first date at Dockery’s led tot hem talking for three hours! Fast forward a few years, and Luke set the plan in motion to propose. He surprised her with a trip to Charleston where they met. After taking a walk to the area they had their first date, Luke led Aubrey to a spot where candles and roses were set up. Luke asked Aubrey to marry him, and she said yes!

Once they were both done getting ready, we all went to Nemours Estate for their first look. Nemours Estate is one of the most beautiful estates I’ve been to in Delaware! The gardens are modeled after Versailles and made for the perfect backdrop. I couldn’t wait to see Luke’s reaction to Aubrey. It ended up being one of the BEST reactions I’ve seen in a long time!

Afterwards, we did a few lovely couples portraits before diving into wedding party portraits! I’m obsessed with their Nemours Estate photos. It’s so elegant and fits the vibe of their wedding to a T!

Once we got back to Hotel duPont, it was time to get married! Seeing them finally become husband and wife was so endearing. I knew it was long awaited for them and their families. Everyone couldn’t contain their joy for Aubrey and Luke and it carried into their reception too! We had the most incredible time documenting this perfect day for them.
