Lums Pond Fall Engagement Session| Delaware Engagement Photographer

Meet Danielle + Trevor! I’m going to start this blog post by saying I freaking love these two. I met them for coffee and instantly knew they were my kinda people. Danielle is a fellow Jersey gal, so we bonded over allll the things, including the fact that NJ pizza IS the best pizza ever. Danielle has successfully converted Trevor into a believer. I’m so excited for their wedding this fall! Back in October, we got together for their adorable Lums Pond fall engagement session.

Danielle and Trevor met at their Discover job back in 2016. They bonded over food (honestly, same) when Danielle would make him bean salad, and Trevor returned the favor with ziti. Their first official date was on Danielle’s birthday. So to make the occasion even more special, Trevor surprised her with balloons and a card. The rest is history, and here we are gearing up for their wedding this fall at The Bradford Estate!

Danielle brought a whole picnic set-up, complete with fancy champagne. If you can’t tell by Trevor’s face in the second set of photos, the cork went FLYING. It took us a hot minute to find it, but we did (we didn’t litter. 😉 ) One of their favorite things to do is go on picnics, so I loved that they incorporated this personal detail into their engagement session. Trevor actually proposed to Danielle over a picnic in Brandywine Creek State Park, which is just the sweetest! He’s so thoughtful of her and it makes me so happy to see how they compliment each other.

If you ever think of a power couple, I neeeeed you to envision Danielle + Trevor. In the short time I’ve known them, they have been climbing the ranks at their jobs and I am SO PROUD! They work so hard and are the best support system for one another. Hardworking couples are such an inspiration and I can’t wait to see them continue to kill it. I’m counting down the days to their wedding day, but until then, I’m living for their Lums Pond fall engagement. Enjoy some favorites!

Rebecca somehow made us both relaxed and produced absolute magic! She instructed us while still making the photos look candid, reliably captured our "good sides," and brought her unique eye for lighting and settings (pro tip: do whatever she says even if it seems funny or in a different location; it will look utterly amazing). Photos can be an investment and I'm glad we did the research and found the perfect photographer for us.
