Palace at Somerset Park Wedding | NJ Wedding Photographer

Remember this stunning engagement for Jaimie and Darryl? WELL, now they’re MARRIED! I couldn’t wait for their Palace at Somerset Park wedding, and it’s exactly as I imagined. The day started in their hotel rooms where they all got ready. Jaimie and Darryl wrote love letters to each other and it’s one of my favorite parts of their day. For all you GoT fans, you’ll adore the reference with the letters!

They met at their alma mater, and I’m sure they didn’t realize it at the time, but they were saying hello to their forever. The coolest part about their wedding is getting married at the Voorhees Chapel on their college campus! It’s the perfect full circle love story and it makes this location that much more special.

It poured during the ceremony, but the clouds cleared just in time for their bridal portraits outside on the Rutgers University campus. I have never been to this campus, but oh my goodness, it’s SO beautiful! I think these portraits fit their vision perfectly and will stand the test of time. We headed over to the Palace at Somerset Park after to begin the celebration!

Y’all, they sure know how to throw a party! Everyone joined them on the dance floor for their first dance and cheered them on. They were surrounded by family and friends, all who exuded joy for them! I had so much fun celebrating this beautiful day with this magnificent couple and will be reliving this one in my dreams for sure. Cheers, enjoy some favorites!

She instructed us while still making the photos look candid, reliably captured our "good sides," and brought her unique eye for lighting and settings (pro tip: do whatever she says even if it seems funny or in a different location; it will look utterly amazing).
