Spring Wedding at Thousand Acre Farm | Delaware Wedding Photographer | Ashleigh + Matt

If you remember their engagement session, you already know I met Matt from our former job. When they booked me for their spring wedding at Thousand Acre Farm, I couldn’t wait for it. There’s no greater honor than a friend trusting you with their wedding day.

Matt and Ashleigh met online through a dating app 5 years ago. Ashleigh claims they weren’t very fond of each other at first, but eventually they became a thing, and the rest is history. They share a mutual love for Pokemon, so I knew right away they’re my kinda couple. I love how they incorporated it into their wedding day, along with other quirky aspects (gamers, you’ll know it when you see it).

Matt proposed to Ashleigh when they went out to Colorado to visit her father’s grave at the Air Force Academy. While he had a Pike’s Peak engagement planned, it ended up backfiring due to weather concerns. However, after a cavern tour at Cave of the Winds, Matt proposed to Ashleigh on the overlook. This location is very special to Ashleigh, mainly because it’s the first place her father took her to when they moved to Colorado. The day of their engagement is also her father and step mother’s anniversary, and her step mother was there to see it happen. Ashleigh says there’s so many little things that day that connected to her father, and Matt didn’t even realize at the time. I think that’s part of what makes their engagement extra special.

Now their wedding, ugh, SO perfect! The weather looked iffy most of the day, so we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. My favorite detail is her father’s Air Force scarf and his hat. He was definitely there in spirit, and I’m sure he had a hand in the weather taking a turn for the very best. The rain storm missed their wedding entirely and opened to a beautiful, golden sunset. Everything came together perfectly, it’s full of laughter and tears, and two of the sweetest people I know got married. Check out their amazing and touching wedding!

Congratulations to the Coles!

Rebecca somehow made us both relaxed and produced absolute magic! She instructed us while still making the photos look candid, reliably captured our "good sides," and brought her unique eye for lighting and settings (pro tip: do whatever she says even if it seems funny or in a different location; it will look utterly amazing). Photos can be an investment and I'm glad we did the research and found the perfect photographer for us.

"The best (esp if you're awkward in photos)"

- Lauren + Hunter

I can't even put into words how amazing Rebecca is. We knew from the moment our engagement photos began that we made the right choice. She is so professional, charismatic, and excited to be a part of your big day.  I would recommend her over and over again!

"Speechless."

- Bianca + Kyle

Rebecca was such a joy to work with, our experience with her was absolute perfection from beginning to end! Even from our first conversation, I could tell that she genuinely cares about getting to know her clients and what they prioritize and want to capture on the big day. She was always so responsive and available by phone or email, communication was a total breeze. Rebecca is not only incredibly talented, but a wonderful human being, and we loved working with her. I wholeheartedly recommend her to all future brides!

"Rebecca was a dream!"

It was truly a pleasure working with Rebecca. She is so sweet and easy to work with, we felt so relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire process. Communication is timely, prices are reasonable. She listened to us and did such a perfect job capturing every moment on our special day. And most importantly - the pictures turned out ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I can't recommend her enough.

"Love love love Rebecca!"
