WAVE RESORT WEDDING, LONG BRANCH, NJ

Oh my goodness, I can’t even begin to tell you how in love I am with Laura and Keith’s Wave Resort wedding! I photographed Laura’s coworkers wedding in 2020, and they reached out after they recommended me! I couldn’t wait to share such a special day with the nearlyweds. Wave Resort in Long Branch had just opened, and I can totally see why Laura and Keith were sold on the space. It’s right on the boardwalk, there is SO much natural light, and the hotel itself is super funky!

Their vibe is timeless with lots of greenery. Wave Resort itself boasts such beautiful views and thoughtfully designed spaces, so they really didn’t need a ton of décor. They kept it simple with elegant tablescapes of florals and let the rest of the venue do the work. I am OBSESSED with their vision and it came together so perfectly.

Laura and Keith have such a sweet love and friendship. I can’t get over how happy Keith looks after their first look! I’m so happy their day went off without a hitch. Everyone was in the best spirits and ready to celebrate the new Mr. + Mrs. Knudsen. I know their marriage is going to be a good one and I can’t wait to see where life takes them. Cheers to you two! Rebecca somehow made us both relaxed and produced absolute magic! She instructed us while still making the photos look candid, reliably captured our "good sides," and brought her unique eye for lighting and settings (pro tip: do whatever she says even if it seems funny or in a different location; it will look utterly amazing). Photos can be an investment and I'm glad we did the research and found the perfect photographer for us.
